Today was the big day, our first race. I picked up Breck and Austin at 730, then off to get Connor and Lauren. We got to the race about 10 mins before the start and got our race packets and numbers. The kids did some stretches before the race. 0900- and they're off to a fast start. Breck broke away from the pack and flew like the Golden Eagle we named the team after. The boys couldn't keep up the pace with Breck. Lauren kept a steady pace and came in just after Breck. The boys followed close behind. We were greeted by Ronald McDonald at the finish line, and some cold water. Great race, we are looking forward to our next one in March.
